Matlock, Sheffield and Online

Online and face to face support for: trauma, anxiety,
panic attacks, phobias, low self-esteem and depression.

I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Derbyshire with over 16 years of experience working in the NHS, independent health settings and the voluntary sector.

I am HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered. I offer face to face therapy sessions at the Matlock Therapy Centre or online sessions.

I have worked with clients of all ages and am experienced in supporting people with mild to severe difficulties and with those who have chronic and acute problems. I work with adults with all types of difficulties including: trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, low self-esteem, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, addictions, eating disorders, interpersonal difficulties and physical health conditions.

Prior to working independently, I have focused working with those with neuropsychological difficulties (for example, following stroke, acquired or traumatic brain injury), pain, trauma and perinatal (ante and post-natal) mental health.

I value the therapeutic relationship as the key to all therapy and enjoy working collaboratively. I offer various therapies including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Focused Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing. Therapy sessions can be short term or long term and can be with individuals, families or groups.

I offer appointments in person at The Matlock Therapy Centre, Derbyshire and online appointments for people living further afield or who have a preference to be seen online.
